Similarly, in Los Angeles, CoolSeal test sites were evaluated six years after initial application and remained in good condition with intact coverage, requiring only minimal maintenance.

Application, Longevity, and Reapplication

CoolSeal is applied in two coats using a spray or squeegee and cures quickly in warm, dry conditions. The process is simple and efficient, making it ideal for high-traffic urban areas.

CoolSeal lasts twice as long as standard coatings, delivering exceptional value over time. It can be reapplied every 5 to 7 years directly over itself.

In Los Angeles, CoolSeal was successfully reapplied over previous CoolSeal layers after six years without issues—demonstrating how reapplication extends service life and reduces waste.

At the end of its life, CoolSeal may be milled into the pavement or simply recoated, helping to avoid costly full replacements and reduce material waste.
